LIT 233 - World Drama (WE)
A survey of world drama produced in both Western and non-Western cultures. Examination of dramatic theories and techniques, and consideration of dramatic themes common to diverse cultures. This course is designated as a writing emphasis course (WE).

Learning Outcomes of the Course:
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the conventions and methods of literature and literary analysis.
- Recognize and analyze nuance and complexity of meaning through critical reflections on texts.
- Use a multi-stage writing process to write effectively using tools and/or forms appropriate to the discipline.
