ENG 150 - Technical Writing This introductory course in technical communication offers a practical approach for writing effectively in professional, business, and technical environments. The course emphasizes the style and organization of technical writing, developing professional tone that appropriately addresses an intended audience, and using proper grammar, with a focus on writing proposals, instructions, research and technical reports, scientific papers, and/or professional communication. Students will practice and apply these communication techniques during the course.
Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: ENG 110 College Writing I

Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Research a business or technical topic, develop an argument, and organize supporting details from business and technical sources.
- Demonstrate coherent college-level communication (written) that informs, persuades, or otherwise engages with a business or technical audience, using professional diction and grammar.
- Evaluate communication for substance, bias, and intended effect.
- Demonstrate the ability to revise and improve written communication.
