CRJ 299 - Independent Study An individual student project in an area of criminal justice with advanced-level work beyond the scope of regular coursework, conducted under the direction of a faculty member and approved by the department chairperson and Dean.
Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisites: CRJ 111 Introduction to Criminal Justice and 6 credits in CRJ courses
Credits: (1-3) Hours 1-3 Class Hours Course Profile Learning Outcomes of the Course:
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the specific criminal justice topic chosen for study.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently to reach a goal.
