PED 124 - Track & Field (CV) This is an introductory course to the running, jumping, and throwing events included in Track and Field. Students will understand the events that comprise a track and field meet, participate in the events, and discuss the importance and health benefits of regular exercise.

Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Identify the running, jumping, and throwing events in Track and Field.
- Understand the skill progressions and training methods involved in Track and Field.
- Develop an understanding of the importance of regular physical activity and health benefits from participation.
