PTA 101 - Introduction to Physical Therapy II General concepts of disease and disease processes are discussed. Diseases of selected organs are studied as they relate to Physical Therapy.
Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: PTA 100 Introduction to Physical Therapy II
Corequisite: BIO 132 Anatomy & Physiology II

Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Define terms related to the disease and disabilities studied in this course.
- Explain the causes, pathophysiological processes and classification of disease and disability studied in this course.
- Outline the principles of healing.
- Review health care literature in relation to pathophysiology.
- Explain the roles various health care providers have in the management of commonly seen pathology.
