Learning Outcomes of the Course:
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Determine ICD-10-CM Procedure Coding System (PCS) codes according to coding guidelines by coding medical record documentation.
- Assign Complications/Comorbidities (CCs), Major Complications/Comorbidities (MCCs), and Hospital Acquired Conditions (HACs).
- Assign Present on Admission (POA) Indicators.
