COM 201 - Digital Audio Production This course is the study of production and post-production techniques used for audio-for-video. Study will include: basic sound reproduction, multi-track recording, mixing, Foley sound, signal processing and Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR).
Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: COM 125 Introduction to Audio Theory and Production
Credits: 3 Hours 3 Class Hours Course Profile Learning Outcomes of the Course:
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
1. Produce and evaluate sound for film and video.
2. Edit and correct the sound in a film or digital video.
3. Enhance the sound of a video production.
4. Be familiar with the terms and techniques in various forms of sound production.
