BUS 262 - Small Business Management An overview designed for those interested in small business as owner-managers. Development of modern management techniques covering forms of organization, site acquisition and location, insurance, marketing, financing, pricing, break-even, permits, license and franchising.
Credits: 3 Hours 3 Class Hours Course Profile Learning Outcomes for this Course:
- The student will understand challenge of entrepreneurship and a small business in a global economy and learn the tools to enhance success.
- The student will have a comprehensive and logical understanding of the concepts involved with launching a small business including building a business plan, financing, marketing, legal aspects, pricing and risk management.
