Associate in Occupational Studies

The Event Management program becomes part of the “Hospitality Suite” of program offerings that have tremendous synergies and positive impact on the local economy and employment picture for residents of Broome County and New York State.  This program, when combined with the simultaneously proposed degree in Casino Management, the currently existing program in Hotel/Restaurant Management, and the proposed future program in Culinary Arts provides the educational platform from which an entire local industry is serviced, the downtown city of Binghamton, New York is revitalized, and local hospitality employment demands are met.
