ANT 113 - Introduction to Biological Anthropology
An introduction to the biological and evolutionary history of humans. The course will consider basic concepts of evolutionary theory and human genetics, the fossil record for human evolution, the behavior and ecology of living non-human primates, and human population biological adaptation and diversity. Laboratory will include study of primate evolution, human anatomy, and DNA analysis. This course may be used to fulfil the natural science general education requirement.

Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Identify the major theories used by biological anthropologists.
- Define major biological anthropological concepts.
- Identify the major scientific methods used by biological anthropologists.
- Analyze bio-anthropological data using one or more of the models employed by biological anthropologists.
