PSY 210 - Human Development Human development from conception through adulthood to the end of life. Considers physical, intellectual, emotional, and social maturation and typical problems in various stages of the life cycle. Especially designed for Health Sciences, Education and Psychology majors.
Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: PSY 110 General Psychology, ENG 110 College Writing I
Credits: 3 Hours 3 Class Hours Course Profile Learning Outcomes of the Course:
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate understanding of the methods psychologists and social scientists use to explore developmental phenomena, such as observation, hypothesis development, measurement and data collection, experimentation, evaluation of evidence, and employment of mathematical and interpretive analysis.
- Demonstrate knowledge of major concepts, models and issues of the field of human development.
