Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Programs of Study

The Computed Tomography Certificate curriculum prepares students to utilize specialized equipment to image cross-sectional anatomy, demonstrate trauma or pathological conditions, provide patient care, implement quality assurance, and perform computed tomography procedures.  Students entering this program must have graduated from a Radiologic Technology program and be currently ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologists (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).

This program is designed to be completed in two semesters, and all courses are available in an online format.  Part-time study is available.

This certificate program does not include a clinical component.  If an individual desires to establish eligibility for the ARRT Post-Primary Certification exam in Computed Tomography, the student is responsible for gaining his or her own clinical experience, as well as the clinical competency documentation required by ARRT.  The program does not assist students with clinical placement, clinical experience, clinical instruction, or clinical documentation.
