BIO 291 - Special Topics in Biology Special courses covering particular topics in the biological sciences beyond the scope of the normal course offerings.
Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisites: College Biology Course and Permission of Department Chair
Credits: 1 Hours 1 class hour Course Profile Learning Outcomes of the Course:
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the methods scientists use to explore biological phenomena, including observation, hypothesis development, measurement and data collection, experimentation, evaluation of evidence, and employment of mathematical analysis.
- Demonstrate an application of scientific data, concepts, and models in one of the biological sciences.
