The mission of the Medical Administrative Skills (MAS) Certificate is to provide graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge for employment in an entry-level administrative position in a variety of medical offices and hospitals. Upon completion of the certificate, students are prepared to immediately obtain a position in the high-demand field of medical administration. This certificate also enables students to earn transfer credits into other related programs for further studies.

All credits earned in this certificate program can be applied toward the Medical Assistant, A.A.S. degree.
Fall of 2018: Medical Administrative Skills Certificate requires that a minimum grade of C or better must be earned for all curriculum specific courses in the approved program and a minimum grade of D or better be earned specific to Biology 101 or 131.
