CRJ 246 - Victimology This course explores the study of victimology, to include the theories, impact, and consequences of victimization.
Credits: 3 Hours 3 Class Hours Course Profile Learning Outcomes of the Course:
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Define and explain victimology.
- Describe associated theories researchers use to explain how and why victimization occurs.
- Explain various crime types associated with criminal victimization and their related consequences.
- Identify and describe programs, services, and resources available to victims.
