LIT 280 - The Short Novel An introductory course on the novel, focusing on shorter exemplars of the genre written in English since 1850. Emphasis on narrative technique, religious and philosophical ideology, as well as socio-psychological themes. Students will demonstrate achievement through various writing and speaking activities and assignments.
Prerequisite- Corequisite Prerequisite: ENG 110 College Writing I

Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Show that they can share with peers and write about their ideas regarding the meanings of a literary work.
