Learning Outcomes of the Course:
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Determine ICD-10-CM Procedure Coding System (PCS) codes according to coding guidelines by coding medical record documentation.
- Compute DRGs (Diagnostic Reporting Groups) from medical record documentation.
- Assign Principal Diagnoses.
