Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Identify, define, and integrate prefixes, suffixes, word roots, and combining forms of medical terms.
- Correctly define, spell, and interpret terminology across body systems.
- Pronounce and interpret terminology associated with disease, pathological conditions, and systems of the body.
- Use medical terminology and abbreviations within the correct context.
- Interpret medical language with simulated medical statements and patient record excerpts.
